The Global Tech Ecosystem Index 2026
325 cities, 77 countries, 3 rankings.
@dealroomco 's most detailed benchmarking yet of 325 tech ecosystems across 77 countries, ranked through three lenses, Global Champions (scale), Density Leaders (per capita) and Rising Stars (growth).
What's covered:
1. The top of all three rankings, and the biggest movements vs. 2025
2. Where capital is concentrating and where innovation is spreading
3. How to use the dashboard to benchmark any of the 325 cities, drill into the underlying data, and compare ecosystems side by side
4. What the data tells us about where the next decade of tech gets built.

Zeker.
Ja, andere lijstjes laten weer andere dingen zien.
What are the leading AI hubs in the world? π€
Density Leaders: The worldβs densest AI ecosystems, identified by VC investment, enterprise value, unicorns and university linkages These cities have high output relative to their population size.

Plek 7.
Daarom is momentum zo belangrijk.

London has OFFICIALLY overtaken Paris to become Europe's leading tech hub! π¬π§
@dealroomco has just released its latest Tech Ecosystem Index, where it ranks tech hubs based on its growth, scale and density.
Last year Paris took the number one position.
Now London has taken it back.
The UK capitalβs return to the top spot is driven by record AI investment - $7bn in 2025, as well as being home to 138 unicorns, including Wayve, Granola, OLIX and ElevenLabs.
This year the UK has continued to fly and has attracted 48% of all European Venture capital.
Amazing news for London, and a great report as always from @yoramdw, @smorla, @sabben and the team (link in comments).
