Dear Samsung:
We need to talk.
I, as a decade + customer, speak on behalf of all of your consumers when we say this: we miss the excitement, innovation, and cool factor you had in your devices.
Your product category is currently great, but they can be the best, by taking a page out of your prior self.
If you need help, I will gladly be of assistance to get you on the right path.
I recently reviewed Galaxy Home, your unreleased Smart Speaker.
Going through archives, I plainly miss the charm, vibe, and energy that old Samsung had, in the 2018-2019 Era.
Give your phones an identity and character. Bring back the fan favorite features that made your devices stand out.
-Give Galaxy Note users a fully featured Bluetooth S Pen.
-Focus on marketing as the forefront of your product launches.
-Release products in a timely manner, so that they meet customer expectations
-Make the position of each phone meaningful, and less convoluted in your lineup.
-We don't have Chinese phones in western markets to push boundaries. So, be that company that one ups Google, Apple, and Motorolla
- Don't get too comfortable re-using the same hardware for 5 generations of phones.
- most importantly, please stop taking away features from your products. Give us Classic DeX back. Give us the Bluetooth S Pen. Give us the vibration motor in the Galaxy Tab.
Make the customer feel appreciated, and excited by making a transaction with you.
Stray away from following others' footsteps.
Be your own trailblazer.
This is out of love, I want to see you do better, and I know you can.
Sincerely,
WorkaholicDavid
