South Africans need to stop this thing of downplaying other people’s experiences.
I saw a TikTok of someone celebrating that she went to Sun City for the first time as a 23 year old and the comments were so dizzy. People were saying it’s not a big deal, others said she wasted her money because Sun City fell off, eng eng. I hate this thing that South Africans do of belittling what someone is grateful for hey as if we are not majority poor. We have people that live in KZN that have never even been to the beach, others stay in the vicinity as the Kruger National Park but they will die without interacting with the animals, we have people in Gauteng that only see Gold Reef city online, it’s not an exaggeration, it is real life! If someone is fascinated by something you already know, let them be! 😭
JUST IN: A South African parent resorted to registering his child as a foreigner to secure admission to a South African school. The child was immediately admitted and placed in a nearby school with no documents required by the Department of Education.
@LadyM1306 All primary Schools around Krugersdorp are full. My kids are South Africans but today the EFF had to fight for us to get space for them while all foreigners kids are already learning 😭. Late registrations should be done by foreigners not us
Health Portfolio Committee member Dr Kgosi Letlape says when the Freedom Charter speaks about 'everyone' it means those within South African borders and born in the country. Letlape adds that if the government is being "generous" to immigrants, it must take them to private hospitals.
