@milton_margo @costcocanada Well other than assistive devices and mobility aids and equipment, I certainly hope there isn’t an expectation of disclosure. It is discriminatory and a violation of privacy to ask “what is your disability?”. Not to mention humiliating.

The @costcocanada website provides shopping times for ppl w/ physical disabilities ONLY. I contacted corporate & our local Costco & was assured that persons w/ cognitive disabilities &/or their caregivers can enter the exit line to avoid the wait. Pls state this on your site..thx

@milton_margo @costcocanada Right? It would be next to impossible for us. And for many persons with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Try getting a handi-dart before 8am. Or having early AM access to a PSW. Argh.

I see slogans like "choose inclusion", & "give the gift of inclusion" a lot. Today reminds us that inclusion is neither a gift nor a choice. It's intl (CRPD), Federal (Charter) & prov'l (Human Rts Code) law. May we all get better at following laws and upholding our obligations.

My son has 2 neurological disorders- we are receiving world class treatment for one at CHEO, and the other #autism, we get nothing. No ABA, no needs-based treatment. This is both illogical and unacceptable. The entire brain needs treatment and support. #NeedsBasedFunding
