Don't know how many times 'experts' have to be told this, but #LongCovid isn't prolonged recovery, lingering symptoms or a slow return to baseline. It's a full-blown, chronic, neuroimmune & microvascular disease triggered by SARS-CoV-2 infection that has no effective treatments.

As the author of three Cochrane review, I’m disappointed to see this review mischaracterize the evidence base so badly. Only two studies were included on COVID-19, and BOTH showed a significant protective effect. Research clearly indicates that masks work.

Also there is data in the US showing that there are high levels of lung damage for the same reason, & that’s leading to hospitalization
