@pettyranch @thealmonddoctor @FloTrouillas There are species of Aphytis and Encarsia that parasitize walnut scale and San Jose scale (not sure if they are same parasitoid species for both pests). Often parasitoid populations can help if conservation biocontrol is practiced.

@FloTrouillas Is that confirmed San Jose scale? Looks a lot like walnut scale, which almond dr doll and I have seen on some occasions infesting almond. What variety almond? Looks like some decent parasitism happening based on exit holes but maybe not enough given the infestation level.
