@SHADOWY_SA @yinkanubi Because the stakeholders in international football would no longer be the football federations and associations but private equity and commercial companies looking to make as much money from themselves as possible. It will no longer be about what's best for the game.

@GP1867 I think we provided a quarterly finance report to the EFL to prove the new owner was running us properly. Once we proved that, some of the restrictions were relaxed. Hopefully you'll get a decent new owner so you can rebuild.

@GP1867 We (Derby) had the same wage and transfer restrictions when we were relegated. It's standard for every team coming out of administration. We had to follow an agreed business plan.
