Trump's approval rating is 33%.
Think about how fucking bizarre American politics has become.
A man can be rejected by roughly two-thirds of the country and still dominate television, Congress, corporations, billionaires and the national conversation like some ancient emperor everyone is terrified to tell the war isn't going particularly well.
Maybe the problem isn't just Trump.
Maybe the problem is that America accidentally built a political system where popularity is optional once you've accumulated enough power.

🚨 Nintendo just sued the United States government over Trump’s tariffs — demanding a full refund with interest.
Nintendo.
The company that makes Mario. That survived every console war. That has never once been political.
Just sued the President of the United States.
20+ states suing over tariffs the Supreme Court already rejected. Jobs report showing -92,000 payrolls. Labor force participation at its lowest since 2021. Oil shipping costs doubled. The Strait of Hormuz closed.
And now Nintendo wants its money back.
When the company that makes Mario is filing federal lawsuits against your economic policy — You have lost the room.
to everyone in the middle east, please stay safe, my heart goes out to you.
fuck israel, fuck the USA, and fuck trump and every single person who voted for that lunatic.
In one year, he’s destabilized US foreign trade relations (possibly irreparably), set us back 75 years in social progress, and now started a new war in the Middle East. Everyone between 18-36 who voted for this should be auto enlisted.
This clip is a good example of Melee’s lack of buffer system.
I’ve found that people who describe Melee as “clunky” often feel this way because they haven’t learned proper timings that allow you to keep movements fluid/coherent.
Ironically, it’s this same precision aspect that long-time Melee players love. It rewards timing knowledge and allows for more “intentional”inputs.
