#WomensDay2026🇿🇦 | As we commemorate the 70th anniversary of the historic 1956 Women’s March, we reflect on the challenges that continue to impede the full realisation of women’s rights, including GBVF, economic exclusion, unequal access to resources, unpaid care work and barriers to leadership.
Gender equality and women’s empowerment remain central to tackling poverty and building a more inclusive, just and sustainable South Africa.

Nelson Mandela Month is more than just a time to honour Madiba's legacy. It is a call to mobilise it.
Building the communities we want to live in requires all of us. Every act of service, every effort to confront injustice, and every contribution, no matter how small, helps create the more just, equal and compassionate society that Madiba envisioned.
Nelson Mandela inspired generations through his unwavering commitment to justice. But his legacy was never meant to end with him. It lives on through the choices we make and the actions we take every day.
This Mandela Month, we are called to put our hands forward and continue the work. The task of building better communities belongs to all of us.
The call is for collective action. The question is: How will you answer it?
