Wrapping up March, we reflect on an insightful talk with @Rmizero16, Chief Digital Officer at @EnvironmentRw, on the Rwanda Land Dashboard. He shared how it will help @Lands_Rwanda make evidence-informed decisions & acknowledged GanzAfrica fellows' key role in its development.
It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Joseph Mfinanga, a former student at the University of Dar es Salaam and long-time colleague. Since 1997, Joseph played a pivotal role in establishing the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (now the College of Science and Technology at the University of Rwanda). He was also instrumental in setting up the Rwanda Polytechnic, where he served as a senior staff member until his untimely passing.
Let us keep Joseph and his family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
