The occupation continues to deny healthcare professionals entry into Gaza as the healthcare infrastructure continues to deteriorate.

Dr. Mohammed Tahir says “After a month-long tour of the US, I was told there was a possibility I could return to Gaza 1-2 weeks ago. I arrived in London yesterday, saw my family quickly and made rapid preparations for Mission 4.

I was all set and on my way to the airport.
But, with deep sadness, I was told I had been denied entry to Gaza.

I’ve been stopped from doing what I do-helping and treating the innocent, the injured, the ones who need us most.

I can’t say I’m surprised. I’ve developed a profile, and that unsettles them. But knowing this doesn’t make it hurt any less.

Truthfully, I’m gutted. Heartbroken.
But I am not giving up.

I will try again. I will keep working for Gaza, for Iraq, for every place where people are suffering and need care.

Please keep us in your prayers. May the road ahead be guided and protected.”
