@SquawkCNBC Listen to what Patricof is saying. He is on spot. 100%. Glad to hear someone with integrity. I thought Bill Ackman had integrity but I guess not.
Well… it’s the end of the month. Which means you’re probably getting tons of texts and emails begging for donations to hit random number fundraising goals. By the way, they’re all fake…
We have FOMO, so we joined in on the action. Here’s what we sent this morning.
@unusual_whales Garbage in and garbage out. If someone thinks they can do it on their own without a lawyer, fine. Just hope if things go sour the other side is a machine as well. I am not a lawyer but if you are talking about using AI for anything other than boiler plate, good luck.
@hbomax so I just read they plan to drop the @HBO part of the name. Just plain #stupid. Reminds my of @Macys dropping Marshall Field’s. Is it hubris or just plain brand ignorance 101? Just as bad as Verizon and their ridiculous decision to change Yahoo and AOL to Oath.
@cfb_18 Hilarious. I’ve done the same at other places and still do. I’m retired now but I did work on Wall Street for over 40 years and I guess old habits never go away. This is not investment advice!
@INArteCarloDoss Anyone who lived thru the Lehman debacle should have known better than to invest in illiquid funds. Probably the same during the dark days of the TMT crash back in 2001 but then it was mostly private buyout funds which were not so widely distributed to retail.
