After arriving at Delhi Airport at 1:15 PM today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose to wait at the airport instead of heading directly to his residence.
With the NEET examination was scheduled to begin at 2 PM, he delayed his departure to ensure students faced no inconvenience in reaching their examination centres and that traffic movement remained smooth: Sources
A few years ago, India woke up to images of PM Modi inspecting Varanasi at 1 AM - walking through streets and railway station when the city slept.
Why at that hour?
So that his security arrangements wouldn't inconvenience ordinary citizens.
And it wasn't a one-off. He has consistently tried that his movement should not disrupt the lives of common people.
Here's another instance:
During a visit to Chandigarh for a university convocation, the local administration declared a school holiday citing security concerns.
The moment he learnt about it, PM Modi asked: “Was a school holiday declared because of me?”
When officials said yes, he was not pleased. Former Governor of Haryana Kaptan Singh Solanki recalls Modi's clear message: students should not lose a day of learning because of the Prime Minister's visit.
His instruction was simple: Treat the Prime Minister's arrival like that of any ordinary citizen. If someone has to wait, let it be me - not the people.
Today was no different.
A small incident. A powerful principle.

🚨 Breaking 🚨
@CopyrightOffice rejects Ankit Sahni's 2nd request for consideration of registering an image created using an #AI painting app.
The work had previously been recognized for #copyright protection in India.

The US Copyright Office has refused to register AI-generated art on a request for reconsideration - a 'van Gogh' inspired piece by Ankit Sahni titled "Suryast." The artwork was created using AI software called RAGHAV. #copyright https://t.co/OVrB3LVwhG
To me the most interesting part of the story is that we now have a very direct—maybe our first?—international split of conflict over registration of AI works. The author in this case, Ankit Sahni, used an artificial intelligence program entitled RAGHAV to create his work. /6

@franklingraves@CopyrightOffice That's a bummer! It's surprising that the @CopyrightOffice rejected Ankit Sahni's request for registering his AI-created image. It's disappointing, especially since it was recognized for copyright protection in India. #generativeAI
