Living in a shared bed space in Dubai with $0 income. Building my way out of this room with AI and documenting the journey to $10k/m in 6 months here & on IG ↓
Posting this because someone told me to document the journey on X.
My name is Saif.
I live in a shared room with 4 other people in Dubai.
I have $0 coming in and can't afford my $163/m rent.
I cook for my roommates so I have a place to sleep.
One thing I do have is SKILL...
I’m highly proficient in AI + dev + tech. And for the past 6 months, I've posted on Instagram every single day documenting my journey to escape this room.
After close to 300 posts, I still have fewer than 1,000 followers.
But... I'm not giving up.
It would be easy for me to look at my results and assume it is not working. I see it differently. I’ve spent 6 months learning how to create, publish, improve, and keep going even when nobody is paying attention.
I've mastered the skill of CONSISTENCY.
Now I’m giving myself 6 months to reach $10,000/m in income so I can finally get out of this room.
I’ll document everything here:
• What I build with AI
• Every experiment that works
• How I turn my skills into income
• Every mistake that costs me time
• The process of growing my socials
• What it really takes to change your entire life when failure isn't an option
I don’t have a backup plan.
I have a laptop, useful skills, and a level of hunger that is difficult to explain unless you’ve been there.
Day 1 starts now.
Follow me @saifscales to see if I make it.
Something is happening that I did not see coming.
A company reached out. They want to partner with me. Send me clients, back me, mentor me through the parts I have been figuring out alone on the floor of a shared room.
Nothing is signed yet. I am not going to pretend it is done.
But here is the part I keep thinking about.
None of this came from a cold call. It came from posting. From six months on Instagram talking about being broke when it would have been easier to stay quiet and let people assume I was fine.
I almost did not post any of it. Showing people the room, the rent I could not make, the parents who sold their house. That felt like the last thing I had left to protect.
Turns out that was the only thing worth showing.
If I had stayed private I would be in exactly the same life today. Same room, same number, nobody knowing my name.
Post the real thing. It finds people.
Day 4.
@lordaegirion Yes, exactly. I didn’t know i will be overwhelmed with all this but its just i am not able to manage my time which I will do now. I have 2 clients and rest I am free but managing time is more difficult that is why i wasnt able to do daily routines
I went quiet for a few days and I owe you an explanation.
Work landed. Meetings, calls, actual client work. Things I chased for months all showed up in the same week and I did not handle it well. Posting was the first thing I dropped.
I am not going to dress that up as strategy. I got buried and I disappeared.
The strange part is I spent months wishing for exactly this. Then it arrived and I froze a little. Nobody teaches you how to carry the thing you asked for.
Learning that now.
Back from today. Every day, whatever the day looks like. The wins, the calls that go nowhere, the money when it comes in.
Day 3.
My parents don’t own their house anymore. They sold it, and then both cars, to clear a debt that was never going to clear itself.
I was in that house while it happened. Good at building things, earning nothing from it, which is the most useless combination there is.
Telling them I was leaving for Dubai wasn’t a fight. They said go. They both cried anyway. Not because I was leaving, but because they knew what leaving with no money actually looks like.
It looks like this. One room, four other men, rent I’m behind on. I cook for them so the arrangement stays comfortable. I spend my days calling businesses that have no reason to answer and my nights building things I hope one of them will pay for.
Six months of posting on Instagram. Almost 300 posts. Fewer than 1,000 people watching.
I know how all of this reads. I’m not asking anyone to feel anything about it.
I just want to be the reason they get it back.
Day 2
@RealIanBotes Bro I build ai systems, i can completely transform and enhance business capabilities using ai. From ai driven websites to backend CRMs to layering AI.
