Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Bin Ibrahim received a courtesy call from the Vice President of the Republic of Botswana, H.E. Ndaba Nkosinathi Gaolathe, to strengthen bilateral relations and explore new areas of cooperation.

The Vice President of Botswana expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Malaysia for its support in Botswana’s government transformation efforts, particularly through PEMANDU Associates and the secondment of Malaysian technical experts. He also praised Malaysia’s broader achievements in government transformation, noting that they serve as an inspiration for Botswana.

Prime Minister reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to supporting Botswana’s economic transformation and diversification efforts, including continued technical engagement and institutional cooperation.

The meeting underscored the shared commitment of both countries to practical, results-driven South–South cooperation.
