@KemPatriot@egi_nupe Everything is related everything else and there is always a cost
to pay. This list is not self-sustaining; it has to be serviced in some way.
@Justice_Crack You r just another loud data boy with nothing upstairs.
You didn’t bother to find the facts; Fiam! You jumped into hot water.
I hope you will have the basic decency to apologise for your ignorance after you find the facts. Like leader like follower. Zero integrity/decency
@OtitoNosike But Podolski. Obiano himself has stated his bit. He was even on video to dispute the money Obi claims have left behind. All of Obi’s successors have been saying the same thing. You have chosen to not believe them that Obi is not the saint you want him to be.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 Make it a tribal issue Kali. Ogun state government ought to build it in Ábíá while your lazy Governor does nothing. Can Abia not see his mate?
@FidelEmmanuel9@AnambraNewMedia He inherited the arrears so he is not responsible for it, isn’t it?
Typical obidient. He didn’t pay them till he left office. Useless conman.
Thank Hod he is exposed for who he truly is. Saint obi is a fraud
Wolf in sheep clothing…
If you like, let them trick you.
Atiku does not care and I am confident he does not care about this boy either. You don’t need to be in govt to help. Sadly when he was in govt he colluded to defraud Nigeria and betray children like this boy.
I have watched Yusuf Aliyu’s video repeatedly, and each time, my heart breaks.
A child with such intelligence, clarity and confidence should be in a classroom building his future—not struggling for survival in a community surrounded by gold but buried in poverty.
I cannot look at him and see an “illegal miner.” I see a Nigerian child failed by the country that should have protected him. I see brilliance trapped by poverty and enormous promise abandoned by leadership.
I appeal specifically for his safety. His courage must not expose him or his family to intimidation or retaliation. I am prepared to support his education and ensure that the brilliance we have witnessed is not buried by poverty. Any effort to reach him must be handled responsibly through his family and appropriate child-protection channels.
But this video raises a question that should trouble the conscience of every Nigerian: how can a community sitting upon gold remain so poor that it cannot educate its children? How can its wealth leave the soil while hunger and deprivation remain in its homes?
This is an indictment of the Tinubu administration. The Federal Government controls Nigeria’s mineral resources, yet the communities producing that wealth remain without schools, opportunities or protection.
The contrast is revealing. President Buhari established PAGMI to register, train and integrate artisanal miners into the formal economy, with Niger State included among its intervention states. Tinubu inherited that framework but has met these vulnerable citizens with raids, detention and the label “illegal miners.”
Buhari saw people to formalise. Tinubu sees poor people to criminalise.
This boy is evidence against the Tinubu government. His intelligence exposes the opportunities it has failed to provide. His poverty exposes the injustice of Nigeria’s mining economy. His presence at that site exposes an administration that has left brilliant children without a ladder out of deprivation.
The government must explain what became of PAGMI in Niger State and how 37 Nigerians died in the custody of a federal agency. Calling them “illegal miners” cannot erase their humanity or excuse their deaths.
As a father, a grandfather and a Nigerian, I refuse to look away. I will continue to speak for these children because their lives matter, their dreams matter and their future belongs to Nigeria.
The gold beneath their community should build classrooms and livelihoods, not graves. —AA
@DutchYusif@YusufAsunmogejo The couple can have a discussion on the number of kids they can manage but to ask her to flee ab-initio is unfortunate in my opinion
@DutchYusif@YusufAsunmogejo Concealing known infertility is even a stronger ground for divorce. So the brother seeking a fertile partner and looking to IMPREGNATE his WIFE after Nikkah is perfectly in order. Advising the sister to run so as not to be a “breeding machine” is frankly unfortunate….
I am very pleased by this news. Somepeople in this country have become very rich by corruptly colluding with government officials to impose liabilities on the government and then sue the government or force it into arbitration to pay huge sums in dollars.
Sometimes, they even collude with government lawyers to come to court and accept liability in exchange for a share of the proceeds. To me, these are some of the most despicable Nigerians alive.
Congratulations to Nigeria and well done to Presidents Obasanjo, Buhari and Tinubu.
Updated Information on:
EKENE VITUS CHUKWUMA’s DEPORTATION ISSUE in India.
Dear Rufai Oseni @ruffydfire,
Here is an update on the case of
Mr. Ekene Vitus Chukwuma whom you brought to our attention.
Mr Ekene is currently in Lampur detention camp, Delhi, India.
He was arrested in December, 2025, for visa overstay.
He informed the *Consular Officer of our High Commission* via telephone call that he successfully sent his wife and three children back to Nigeria but stayed back to do some “business” despite lack of proper documentation,
with a passport that expired since 2020. He was issued an ETC ( emergency travel certificate ) by the Nigerian High Commission to allow him return home during the amnesty period.
However, he chose not to use the ETC, sent his wife and children back home, while he stayed behind.
He was arrested again and his ETC expired while he was in detention.
The Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), are in charge of deportation, and will only deport after the individual has been checked and cleared.
They have cleared many but more are still being detained and awaiting deportation.
When they are cleared and ready to be sent back ( at their own expense) the
The High Commission of Nigeria in India will then issue an Emergency Travel Certificates (ETC) to them after receiving the request of deportation concerning those to be deported.
The High Commission said it recently received a report that some of the detainees were engaged in sale of illegal substances "market" even inside the deportation camp, and some detainees petitioned the Foreigners Regional Registration Office
In summary, Mr Ekene remained in India with a passport that expired in 2020. He got an amnesty to return last year but rather chose to remain, while he sent his wife and children back home The ETC given to him to return home expired while he was arrested and put in a deportation camp
The Nigerian High Commission would continue to monitor the situation of Ekene and hundreds of other deportees as the Mission has requested for another round of six months amnesty for those Nigerians residing and working illegally in India to leave without any payment of penalties.
*( pls find attached the copies of ETC issued to Ekine which he refused utilising to return home as well as his expired Nigerian passport ).*
Also attached is a picture of the visit to Prisons in Mumbai, State of Maharashtra by the High Commissioner, Ambassador Saidu Dahiru Muhammad and some Members some Mission’s diplomatic staff.
As a continuation of the implementation of the federal government ‘s foreign policy of citizen-centred diplomacy by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, the Mission plans to embark on consular visits across other provinces to check on the welfare of Nigerian inmates and report to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accordingly.
NIDCOM hereby reiterates its warning to Nigerians abroad to always obey the law of their host countries and avoid any form of illegality.
