@TFletcherDesign The Albatross File is a good Singaporean account of the period leading up the Singaporean expulsion from Malaysia based on declassified government records.
(Malaysia was considered to be the "albatross" around the neck of Singapore)
@Simple_Peasant1 I was very confused when Indonesians started calling us Malaydesh but posted pictures of Malaysian Indians. They cant seem to grasp that Malaysian Indians are NOT immigrants and have been citizens for at least 3 generations already by this point.
@TFletcherDesign One of the main points of conflict between Malaya and Singapore was the division of tax income. Singapore was bringing an outsized income and wanted most of it to stay in Singapore instead of being used to develop the relatively backward rest of Malaysia.
@t1oxpb Thank you, I needed the reminder that despite being able to apparently communicate in English many Malaysians are unable to perform higher order thinking in the language.
@Simple_Peasant1 It's great portrayal of an idealistic malay-boo who doesn't understand the actual reality of malay elites working with Chinese capitalists
Sejak RTM siarkan Piala Dunia, ada saja suara yg tak senang dengan siaran mereka. Buat pra-rancangan dlm BM pun jadi isu, letak logo RTM masa perlawanan pun sama.
Terkadang, rasa mcm Malaysia ni tak berhak nikmati benda baik. Puncanya kerana tak bersyukur. Ada tu layan saja la
@AssemblyRoti I personally love the Chinese caste thing. Most sophisticated trolling campaign from Indians. Perfectly highlights the absurdity Indians have to face from foreigners not understanding indian culture and it's elements like the caste system.
@GameAddict@aslicheen Luke I find your replies to be funny because they are in the same vein as many Indians' response to blatant misinformation abt india. You can rest easy knowing that besides some credulous fools nobody is really taking this Chinese caste thing seriously.
