I’ve been working as hard as the FTX Trust’s lawyers — the only difference is that I’m doing it for free, while they have collected nearly $1 billion in legal fees.🤣🤣🤣🤣

My Limited Objection has now been officially filed and appears on the court docket (D.I. 33537). So far, it is the first objection filed in response to their Motion to Extend the Claims Objection Deadline (D.I. 33444).

Here are the key points:

1️⃣ Opposing the one-year “unconditional extension,” which would keep disputed creditors stuck in uncertainty with no transparency or progress.
2️⃣ Requesting real transparency: disclosure of disputed claim categories, workflows, and timelines.
3️⃣ Calling for category-based processing: fast-tracking “procedurally simple and clear-cut” disputes while allowing complex disputes to proceed separately.
4️⃣ Urging the Court to grant only a short, conditional extension with active judicial oversight, rather than giving the Trust a full year of unchecked discretion.
5️⃣ Proposing a “compel action” mechanism so disputed creditors can finally get meaningful responses during the extended period.

Update: The #FTX Recovery Trust filed a Notice of Withdrawal of the “Restricted Jurisdiction Procedures” motion on Nov 3. This is a victory for all potentially affected creditors.

But until you receive the compensation you’re owed, stay vigilant and keep acting together.

详细说下,目前为止 FTX“受限制司法辖区”动议的真相与时间线（截至2025年10月）

#FTX破产案 #FTX债权人
1️⃣ 7月2日
FTX重组团队突然提出“受限制司法管辖区动议”，希望法院批准一个程序，让他们的律师可以自行决定哪个地区是“受限制地区”。
一旦被认定为受限制地区（如中国），FTX可以直接没收该地区的未分配资产。

2️⃣ 我看到动议后立即组织中国债权人反击，并在7月22日听证会前提交了反对动议。
3️⃣ 7月22日听证会
多位中国债权人出庭发言。
Owens法官未批准动议，指出没收不合适，并要求FTX提供清晰流程，方便海外中国债权人修改居住地并拿回赔偿。
当时法官态度较温和，希望对方修改后再提交。
4️⃣ 听证会后
FTX没有修改动议，也未公布修改居住地址流程，反而设定了：

8月15日 → 快照时间

9月30日 → 第二轮赔偿
中国债权人依旧未获得分配。
5️⃣ 8月15日前，我们开始自己探索修改地址流程，通过邮件与Kroll沟通，答案各不相同。
最终我们拼凑出关键步骤，我在推特和电报群分享，让大量真实居住海外的债权人成功修改地址。
6️⃣ 9月30日
部分修改成功者获得赔偿，但仍无官方文件说明流程。
7️⃣ 9月30日后
我提交了两份新动议：
① 要求明确居住地修改流程；
② 要求确认赔偿币种为美元而非加密货币。
大量中国债权人加入动议，但FTX依旧未回应。

8️⃣ 10月21–23日
听证会前两天（美国时间深夜），FTX突然提交修改版动议，大篇幅禁止我发言，同时仍企图没收“受限制地区”资产（中国占82%）。
9️⃣ 10月23日听证会
百余名中国债权人远程参会。
Owens法官直接质问FTX：

“为何其他破产案都不需要这样的程序？”

“连伊朗都能拿到赔偿，为什么中国不行？”
法官明确表示动议不合适。
🔟 总结
相较7月，目前形势显著乐观：
⚖️ 法官支持修改居住地；
⚖️ 没收方案被否定。
但FTX仍可随意“争议”债权，无需解释。

这只是好的开始，不是结束。
我们要继续努力，直���所有债权人拿回赔偿。

Thank you to @Cointelegraph for directly quoting my tweet. However, that was only part of my expressed views. The most critical point is still missing: FTX claims are denominated and settled in U.S. dollars. We are already in the distribution phase, which has nothing to do with crypto regulation. There is no legal risk for Chinese citizens to receive compensation in U.S. dollars. The FTX Recovery Trust’s motion lacks a valid foundation from the outset.

In the Celsius bankruptcy case—also a U.S.-based crypto company—creditors were compensated via bank wire transfers, and Chinese creditors successfully received their payments. Why can’t FTX do the same?
