@Infosys_GSTN For past 10 days unable to choose the financial year as easier. Every time we logout and login or we go dashboard and caom back the returns menu but still the error exists. But daily Maintenance are made but there is no solution. Kindly solve the issue

Idiots asking why file on the last date.... the last date is there for a reason. It means you are allowed to file until that date. It is the responsibility of the IT Dept to ensure that the portal is accessible and functional on all days INCLUDING THE LAST DATE. With so many morons blaming the tax payer, no wonder things do not improve.

Since Infosys took over, there have been persistent glitches, and the site struggles to handle even 25 lakh ITRs on the due date.

Income Tax Portal issues since afternoon

- AIS/TIS takes 2 hrs to download.
- Tax payment pages hang, needing 3-5 refreshes.
- ITR uploading multiple errors.

If portal is still problematic tomorrow, @IncomeTaxIndia should extend due date.
