My mum is a legend. She kept me on the straight and narrow — no small task — and I still don’t know how my mum managed to raise five of us on her own (check out these five full grown champions⬇️).

When you’re young you don’t always see it. When you’re older, you realise just how much pressure they were carrying — especially when things were tight and everything had to stretch that bit further.

To all the women out there — mums, step-mums, carers, those working, juggling everything, keeping things going day in, day out — we see it, and it matters more than people often say. Article attached…

Countdown begun. T-2 days to launch for Mission: Everest. Our mission: London to the summit of Everest and back in 7 days (under 21 days to beat the official record). Completed my last high altitude test—walking without oxygen at 8000m. I felt a little dizzy on completion but oxygen in my blood didn’t go below 70SPo2 (at sea level it’s at 98). The long, hard effort of pre-acclimatising paying off thus far. We will have a live track so you can follow our progress. Watch this space for details. All
