It's too much of a black box for many.

They don't trust it as a result.

So, I tried out the brand spanking new Pub/Sub API that is now GA in Salesforce with a little inbound Integration POC. It also used Platform Events and Flows. What was super cool is it was a completely NO CODE integration, not a single line of custom code had to be written.

2 of 3 - It was also event-driven, loosely coupled, not point-to-point and asynchronous in nature. And from my reading, it is fast, about 7x over a traditional synchronous REST API web service call into Salesforce.
