Last night we invited San Francisco's sales leaders to YC to hear from the startups building the future of AI in sales.
@MamizukaAkira (VP of Technology and Product Operations, LinkedIn) and Art Harding (GVP GTM Strategy & AI Ops, ClickUp) sat down with @HyperboundAI co-founder @sguduguntla11 to discuss how they're adopting AI to ramp reps faster, shorten sales cycles, and increase win rates.
We also heard lightning demos from 8 YC companies at the frontier: @wolfia_app, @GetArtisanAI, @origamichat, @joinergo, @VelesInc, Cedar, Caretta, and @salesgraph.
The future of sales is already here.
@utpalnadiger@JaySahnan@browserbase For folks out there who want to do their own gtm eng work Jay’s skill is amazing.
Salesgraph does do this out of the box for full sales teams!
Super grateful to be a small piece in the journey and proud of the minty crew, true visionaries and pioneers in a overlooked space across product, sales, and customer success.
Every startup should take notes on the way Mintlify scaled to where it is today.
winning deals comes from building your champion, not just convincing them
if you don’t make it easy for your champion to sell you internally, you’ll lose that deal 9/10 times
simple formula:
create a business case so strong your champion wants to sell you to their boss
give them every tool/asset necessary to make the value you provide obvious
ensure that once the deal’s won, implementation goes so smoothly that your champion stands to gain a promotion
“nobody ever got fired for buying ibm” isn’t good enough anymore
sell “we’re so good you’ll get a promotion for implementing us”
if you wanna nail this down, we should chat
