I can help you sell. I was a sucky, unsuccessful salesman who became an enterprise sales leader at a Fortune 500 company. About me and why you should follow me:

@frankandrus@HolderStephen Funny how people on the left chide private companies for - e.g - refusing to bake cakes for gay weddings, but are pro private-company-bans when Trump is the recipient. If this was done to Obama, “racism” would be all you heard about this. Did you support RFRA? Yeah, bet not.
An Inside Sales study years ago showed that the diminishing return for outreach started at 12 touches. TWELVE. Most reps stop at 2 or 3. Keep reaching out.
I see too many sales reps get mad when prospects don’t return their call or emails. Their frustration starts to come through in their correspondence. Don’t make it personal and mitigate your emotion.
Even if you’re only selling to one person, you have to get consensus with the following characters:
- Product User/ Service Benefactor
- Finance
- Procurement
- Legal
- Security
Have a game plan to address all of these.
5-10 year plans are good for visualization and direction exercises, but it’s a bad idea to doggedly follow those plans. Something bigger and better than what you could possibly dream or imagine could interrupt those plans and you could miss it if your head is down.
