Dr. Ryan Alcantara, Interim CEO & President, met with our Bakersfield staff at the Cesar E. Chavez Foundation, where they were joined by Andrés Chávez, who gave them a tour of the National Monument, Executive Director of the National Chávez Center. He also enjoyed a warm meet-and-greet with our Bakersfield office team with a special surprise visit from Dolores Huerta! The tour wrapped up at Wonderful College Prep Academy, where Ryan connected with Jorge Aguilar (Superintendent of WCPA), Javier Guzman (Family & Community Engagement Manager), and Lupe Sanchez (Senior Project Manager) to see the incredible work being done to support students and families every day. Next stop, Bay Area!
