This is for you, Dad, and for Palestine 🇵🇸
تتكدس الحكايات والخواطر، وتحاصرني المشاعر من كل جانب، لكن ما بجعبتي من كلمات قليل. توقف الزمن عندكما.. بابا، وفلسطين.

I rarely take photos with anyone, except for a select few whom I hold in special regard. Among them is the Palestinian thinker Joseph Massad, Professor of Modern Arab Politics and Intellectual History at Columbia Uni, and a former student of the renowned intellectual Edward Said.
Over two days, our interns participated in an intensive AI training workshop led by journalist Shaimaa El-Hadidy @salhadidy. The sessions introduced them to hands-on applications of AI in research, writing, data visualization, interactive presentations, and dashboard development.
Through these workshops, we provide our interns with advanced competencies and practical tools that enrich their learning experience and prepare them to make meaningful contributions in research and beyond.

“We gave you a visa to study, not to become a social activist.” He literally said that, from the so-called "land of freedom of speech"
And completely ignored answering why a student was cuffed and kidnapped from the street by masked agents, just because she expressed her opinion
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio revealed today that the United States has revoked somewhere near 300 student visas of pro Palestine activists, calling the people that oppose the US backed Israeli genocide ‘lunatics’ and declaring that he intends to take away the visa’s of all the student protesters saying “go back and do it in your country.”

Since 2011, Tahrir Square has undergone architectural transformations aimed at suppressing its revolutionary identity and reshaping its place in collective memory, writes MCJN member Shaimaa Elhadidy🇪🇬 (@salhadidy) for @The_NewArab.

It also included a historical study of the square, which witnessed key moments in Egypt’s history during the monarchy and British mandate, when it was known as "Ismailia," evolving into the "Stone Cake" era during the republic, until it became a symbol of freedom and hope for us.
I’m pleased to share an in-depth report tracing the urban changes that have taken place in Tahrir Square since the 2011 Revolution, and the efforts made by the Egyptian regime to erase the revolutionary identity of the square.

The piece is a condensed version of a comprehensive research paper I worked on, exploring the urban transformations in the square from 2011 to the present, which aligned with shifts in political discourse and the state's approach to everything related to the uprising.

In remembrance of 125 journalists who were killed in Gaza and Lebanon since the Israeli war started over three months ago, including 16 female journalists. JRN mourns them all, as well as dozens of their family members who have also been killed.
JRN stands united with our Palestinian colleagues, grieving the loss of Hamza Dahdouh and Mustafa Thuraya. JRN strongly condemns the targeting of our colleagues covering the Israeli war on Gaza.
Delighted to be a part of the Just Reporting Network, a collective of media professionals standing in solidarity with #Palestine and our colleagues in #Gaza. Join us and help amplify our mission!
We are the Just Reporting Network — a group of media workers which formed after growing concerned by our industry’s coverage of Israel’s assault on Gaza.
@bbclysedoucet Are you proud now of your report that pre-justified the IDF's massive bombing of a hospital, resulting in the deaths of over 500 Palestinians? The hospital was full of injured individuals, children, and women who had sought shelter there after their homes were reduced to rubble.
