@GCAJoeA@PrestwickGC@prestwickgcpro I’ve always said it’s a course you could play every day for the rest of your life, and every day it would be different - loved my rounds there 💙⛳️
IMPERFECT PERFECTION
Some would baulk at the amount of butter on this farmhouse loaf.
Others would SCREAM that we've scraped the butter sideways, instead of cutting little perfect disks off the end of the block.
More would question the even-ness of the spread.
and, the quality of that picture - why has it even made it onto socials?
But, none of that is remotely important to us
Our collaboration was all about making the best butter we possibly could. We started with our brewed organic cream - our unique, Mossgiel way to created rich double cream.
It's then taken to the butter pros at Wee Knob of Butter in Glasgow, to be churned in traditional churns, not pushed through industrial machines in the name of 'efficiency' like BIG DAIRY.
The only other ingredient we add comes from Ayrshire itself; sea salt. The seawater harvested just 12 miles from our farm. Concentrated using unique salt towers in Ayr harbour, before being perfected into natural salt crystals by The Salt Masters at Blackthorn Salt.
It's taken us years to get here and has only been possible through local collaborations, built with relationships of trust, and a shared understanding of our unique and shared vision for Scottish food.
We're incredibly lucky, because this Sunday morning with Scotland throwing her wind and rain in all directions; we can grab an organic farmhouse loaf to enjoy this collaboration with our family before a day on the farm.
But, what's even more lucky, and special, is that we're now able to share this experience with you - across Scotland - and show what tradition, organic farming and a vision of sustainable farming can do when three Scottish companies come together to make it happen.
Our stockists and delivery partners are rolling our Mossgiel butter out across Scotland this month - can we can't wait to hear your feedback.

Despite the chilly East winds in the morning the course is starting to take shape nicely.
Weather is looking good for next week so we should start to see more growth☀️🌱⛳️
Sunday was the most emotion I've ever felt about a round of golf. But almost certainly not for the reason that you think. On all those tears, all that dreaming and a phone call that I'll remember forever.

A great week of weather. Course is slowly starting to take shape.
All areas cut this week along with work starting on tidying the paths and clearing the right of the 17th and 2nd. ⛳️☀️
