Like many i have mixed feelings about autism awareness week.
Autism is every day,
Its 1am with a sing song
3 am with a cry
It's 11 o clock whilst in the que at the supermarket.
Its up its down, its rough its raw its happy and sad
Its not for one week only.
Thanks to @AndrewMarr9@BBCOne for asking me to talk about my sister and her ongoing battle with Covid.
I felt I owed it to the LD community to explain the unique challenges they face with this horrific virus & to let them know they are not forgotten or of less value in society.
Shocking customer service from @curryspcworld 5 phone calls, 3 promises of call backs and nothing! They have £160 of my money when they haven’t informed me that the gift isn’t in stock. Trying to get in touch is a nightmare.

This is self-isolating in style - Sally and Ken from Penzance are both in their 80s, both have dementia but she loves to play the piano - no sheet music! - and he loves to dance 😍
#coronavirus#selfisolating
This is the face of someone who just spent 9 hours in personal protective equipment moving critically ill Covid19 patients around London.
I feel broken - and we are only at the start. I am begging people, please please do social distancing and self isolation #covid19
I've put £1million in a fund to provide grants of £5k - £20k to small UK charities who are doing/want to do immediate Coronavirus poverty relief.
Please share to let any charities who may want to apply know.

If the Prime Minister won't say it, then I will: STOP going to pubs/bars/cafes/restaurants IMMEDIATELY or reveal yourself to be a reckless, selfish imbecile with no regard to the lives of our elderly & sick. This is not a game, this is a deadly war that's about to erupt.
1. The govt strategy on #Coronavirus is more refined than those used in other countries and potentially very effective. But it is also riskier and based on a number of assumptions. They need to be correct, and the measures they introduce need to work when they are supposed to.
This astounded me. And made me actually lol. It’s always been a moose to me too Chris! To celebrate that feeling of “what the?! NO WAY!!” What have you or yours only just learnt/realised that has rocked your world & blown your tiny mind?
Last November @evanshalshawuk Hull collected my sons disability car for a service. It was driven through the tag lane of the Humber Bridge, it doesn’t have a tag. 2weeks later I get a fine for £33. 12 weeks later, 6 phone calls & 3 emails. No response. Shocking customer service.
Exchanged pleasantries w/ a tall, well-spoken, bespectacled man in a queue @WaterstonesYork yesterday who I should have asked to go for a drink. 🤓📚☕️ It was on the 1st floor at around 3. Are you out there fellow book-lover? (There’s a possibility I’ve watched too many rom-coms)
