@naomicfisher Currently having an issue with this as my child has the same name as another child in his form so has his demerits that they have not removed despite saying they would. His only one he got legitimately for him was one for being late after a hospital appointment 😳😂 laughable

I think my takeaway from this placement and from social work is that you can have the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows, in the same day as a social worker.That people are amazing, and resilient, and delicate, and inspiring and that homes and people harbour so many stories

Me two years ago starting University: I never want to do children and families/safeguarding/CP. Me after two years and *this* semester especially: hmmm actually.... 🙈

@Amandakey_hull I'm a student and came in thinking mental health and that I would never want to touch CP.... One particular module and I'm like ok... So maybe... I might just have a little look 😬😂. I think my fixed view has become very open to possibilities ☺️

Today was always going to be a good day. Timetabled in a building near where I park ✅, a new module that I just know I'm going to love ✅ and last but absolutely not least the return of a lecturer who made a massive impact from my foundation year. ✅.What a day. Bravo, UCLan🤣👏

I attended paediatric first aid training today with some friends from uni. Brilliant course via @LALPartnerships put on in the local library who provided the coffee and warm welcome. Superb community partnership ⚕️🏥

The moment you have a breakthrough on an assignment that's been particularly giving you grief! 🎉 Which I'm now fairly confident I was just completely over complicating the question 🤦‍♀️. This law module is breaking me 🫠!

In my other hat as Beaver Scout Leader we were privileged to have a visit from @BPMRT tonight. Nick was so engaging and lovely with the kids and the feedback from the boys and their families is really positive. They particularly liked how much scouts have in common with MRT! ⚜️🙌

As well as being a student I also run a small beaver scout colony 🦫. I'm looking for someone appropriately qualified to come and deliver a first aid training/demo to a few scouts. Wonder if @UCLanParamedics @UclanNursingSoc @UclanFirstAidSo could help? ⚕️
