We need a severe national lockdown and I mean severe! Airports closed, no incoming or outgoing flights. No one at work, unless they’re key workers. No meeting up in groups of six. 3 months of strictness so we can get our fucking lives back.
Congratulations to @GavinWilliamson - using legal action to keep schools open really got results.

Every time I hear political news from America I think about how glad I am that I don't live there, this lasts about 2 seconds until I remember I live in the UK.
Before the spin starts, it’s worth remembering that Brexit is happening against Scotland’s will. And there is no deal that will ever make up for what Brexit takes away from us. It’s time to chart our own future as an independent, European nation.
this has fundamentally been the most difficult part of the pandemic for me. I’ve gotten through tough times, but having to do it without being able to spend time with friends like normal is killing me
Christmas isn’t cancelled just because the virus has changed, but because of serious, serial government failures, month after month, careering to this conclusion
Getting angrier the more I think about it. When @AndyBurnhamGM was taking a stand it was because he knew low paid workers in the north couldn’t survive on 67% furlough. Gov has now accepted this isn’t enough when it comes to the country as a whole. Pure contempt for the north.
I actually cannot get over this £20m offer.
How the **** can you offer less money to a major city dealing with a total lockdown than you can spend on political bribes in ministerial constituencies?
Every time I think the govt can't be more self-serving and corrupt it surprises.
