@ElaineMcgreevy you have described my petition against Damian Milton as "the most infamous case" of "internalised ableism"? Ahem, no. Not at all. This was me standing up for the entire PDA community who has been systematically bullied by people like you andMilton
PDA has been viciously attacked by autistic people on Twitter now for years. It seems Milton's Double Empathy theory has failed to signpost some autistics to respect neurotypes they don't understand
@Richard_Autism @twillierod @KatyBenson20@MummyAutistic@milton_damian@NICEComms We are identifying with all the traits described in the PDA profile. Just because you don't identify, does not mean we don't. Thank god we're all not the same as you, Mr troll
@PDASociety@JKPAutism Thank you. I'm so happy the book I compiled is continuing to raise money for you. You're a fantastic, transparent, genuinely helpful charity which listens to actually PDA people and makes a difference
PDA stands for "pathological demand avoidance" but signifies an entire, distinct neurotype. It's currently classed as an autism spectrum condition, but this does not mean it's the same as all autism
My new animated video: a quick introduction to PDA (pathological demand avoidance). This short video explains how the PDA neurotype is more than just autism plus avoidance, and how PDA avoidance is far from rational https://t.co/vBTmEnDiyH
My new memes e-book Pathological Demand Avoidance Explained. £4 to buy, or free to borrow from Kindle Unlimited: either way royalties are donated to @PDASociety https://t.co/9ceQCH3aUe
@IgHawthorne @AIMautistic @KieranRose7@milton_damian Hello. It is really not OK for autistic people to assume the right to tell those of us who identify as PDA that our condition doesn't exist. Please have some respect
@Aspergreatness @Richard_Autism @autismotherland @cassie_davies@Planet_Autism@milton_damian Autistic demand avoidance is just as you describe it :) Pathological demand avoidance is present regardless of stress
