Look at this.
Look at how beloved Lindsey Graham was among the Iranian people. I haven't seen veneration like these even among his own fellow white Republicans.
Iran is America's natural ally and friend.
NEW: Sen. Tommy Tuberville says Sen. Lindsey Graham called his scheduler after returning from an overseas trip, saying, "Listen, I'm having chest pains. I need to do something."
When asked, "Did you call 911?" Graham replied, "No, that's the reason I called you." The scheduler then called 911, and first responders forced entry into Graham's home.
Axios also reports Graham said, "I can't die now. I still need to do the Russia sanctions, get Iran sorted out and do Israeli-Saudi normalization."
On February 14, 2026, before a crowd of 250,000 Iranians in Munich, Senator Lindsey Graham raised Iran's Lion and Sun flag and said:
"I have chosen you over the ayatollah. The world needs to choose you, the Iranian people, over the ayatollah. You represent the best of mankind. He represents the darkest of mankind."
Today, the people of Iran lost a true friend. Rest in peace, Senator Lindsey Graham.
For many of us Iranian Americans, Senator Lindsey Graham was not only a powerful voice in the United States Senate, he was a constant, steady supporter of the Iranian people. He stood with us every step of the way.
Many Iranians affectionately called him “Uncle Lindsey” because he felt like more than a politician; he was a source of strength and reassurance, a person we trusted to speak up for our struggle when others stayed silent. He became part of our story of resistance and hope.
Among Iranians and the Iranian diaspora, his courage and solidarity will never be forgotten.
On behalf of many Iranian Americans, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and to President Trump. We share in your grief and honor his memory alongside you. May he rest in peace.
UPDATE: This is indeed a sad moment as President Trump posts a picture of Lindsey Graham.🙁
He was deeply involved in discussions surrounding the Russia–Ukraine conflict and wanted to see an end to the war to help bring peace to the region.
Graham was also very vocal in expressing support for the Iranian people.
