Whether or not Europe stands with us, whether or not your journalists do their jobs, whether or not your politicians demonstrate the courage to act, I will fight for my people and my country.
Reposting my prayer for a free Iran, which I shared a few weeks ago.
Now war has begun. I don’t know how this will play out. Or how it will end.
Even so, I still pray for a free Iran — and for the Persian people to retake their rightful place under the sun. #FreeIran 💚🤍❤️
When you woke up this morning, your internet worked. You scrolled, you searched, you shared. But 90 million Iranians woke up — again — to total darkness. Their government has now imposed the longest nationwide internet blackout ever recorded in any country. Almost 40 consecutive days.
That should alarm every one of us. Iran’s information blackout is a weapon against its own people. When governments can flip a switch and immediately disappear 90 million people from the internet, the rest of us lose our eyes and ears too.
To everyone in the West panicking over "escalation": watch this video.
This is the shore of the Persian Gulf in Hormozgan. A little girl is calmly swinging on the beach while the Islamic Republic's military facilities burn to the ground in the background.
We are not mourning the destruction of our occupiers. We are not crying over their burning terror machine. While Western diplomats wring their hands and debate the "humanitarian cost" on their pathetic scales, the actual Iranian people are watching our rescue mission unfold.
This is exactly what we asked for. Obliterate their military apparatus. We are just waiting for the smoke to clear so we can take our country back.
Messages and images from inside Iran:
The Islamic Republic is using schools and students as human shields.
Multiple reports indicate that many military and security centers across Iranian cities have been evacuated, with forces and equipment relocated into schools. They are turning schools into barracks and using children as human shields to protect themselves.
Today, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson even held a press conference inside a school.
The Islamic Republic has no regard for the lives of its citizens, civilians, or even children. A regime that killed more than 230 children in just two days will not hesitate to see more children die in war if it helps them sell their narrative to the world.

The Muslim Nazis are now holding Wartime Press Conferences inside elementary schools.
The Islamic Regime occupying Iran is turning schools, hospitals and mosques into legitimate military targets.
This is a war crime.

The protests in Iran cannot be separated from the long-standing, state-imposed restrictions on girls’ and women’s autonomy, in all aspects of public life including education. Iranian girls, like girls everywhere, demand a life with dignity.
The people of Iran have long warned about this repression, at great personal risk, and their voices have been silenced for decades. These restrictions exist within a wider system of gendered control shaped by segregation, surveillance, and punishment — one that limits freedom, choice, and safety far beyond the classroom.
They demand their voices be heard and the right to determine their political future. That future must be driven by the Iranian people, and include the leadership of Iranian women and girls — not external forces or oppressive regimes.
I stand with the people and girls of Iran in their call for freedom and dignity. They deserve to determine their own future.
🇮🇷 ELDERLY IRANIAN WOMAN DEFIES REGIME WITH BLOOD ON HER FACE
An elderly woman in Tehran took a direct hit to the face from a projectile fired by security forces tonight, blood pouring from her mouth as she stood defiant in the crowd.
She raised her arm high and screamed: "I’m not afraid! I’m not afraid!
I’ve been dead for 47 years!"

Iranian woman lights her cigarette with a burning photo of the ayatollah. This is braver than anything an American feminist has done in the 21st century. Actual badass:
