@itsgeoffwilson TAG should partner up with PSA where PSA can use TAG's reports for discounted crossovers and they can handle most of that without ever needing to receive the card.
@KenShepherd We could also implement "difference liens" that are paid when the house transfers ownership. If property taxes should be $5K but you want to pay $2K, the city/county/state puts a lien on the property for the difference every year there's a gap.
@ouranometrian2 I replaced 3 in 2023 and it was $19K but each was the most basic unit. Middle tier efficiency would've added $3K/unit. $17K/unit doesn't seem outrageous assuming those are above mid-tier units.
(We have solar so we aren't begging for HE units due to power costs.)
@lisathebeauty1 Rent is always market rate. One of the key components of renting (vs owning) is that you have to be willing to leave for a better rate.
@JamesMac_Fit Mine have tablets but I only manage screen time (30 minutes per day) on them and I will not manage whether or not they're charged. Given that, they're rarely used.
We have a Switch as well. I'm more ok with that as it does help with hand-eye coordination.
@mcuban At some point, and it should be low, the government needs to acknowledge that a feat like that unlocked tax revenue and just give them an untaxed monetary reward.
Like, we never have to do dialysis again? Cool, here's $50B.
