YVR is providing care and comfort for people who are facing delays. This includes providing access to over 400 rooms at local hotels, and restaurant gift cards. Passengers will be able to stay free-of-charge for up to four nights as they wait for their next flight.

Also @united flight canceled (UA#109 YVR-DEN). They tried to blame weather. But it was the inbound flight from @flyLAXairport (65 degrees and sunny) that was originally delayed for maintenance, then cancelled outright. Rebooked us for 4 days later - not a merry Christmas United!

YVR UPDATE: Flights continue to arrive and depart from YVR today as crews work to clear surfaces and get people safely on their way. Unfortunately we’ve seen the cancellation of today’s Air India flight and a lengthy delay on Singapore Air. Both of those are non-weather related.
