Today is Firefighters Memorial Day.
It is a day of international solidarity and remembrance for all firefighters and fire and rescue service workers across the world.
We will fall silent at 12pm today, to remember our colleagues who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
Today is London Poppy Day!
Look out for volunteers and Armed Forces personnel collecting donations for the Royal British Legion’s #PoppyAppeal at @TfL and @networkrail stations.
And if your travelling by train or tube, listen out for this special message from @BillBailey ❤️

In the lead up to Easter @HMCoastguard is urging everyone to stick to coastal paths and follow safety signage, after two dog walkers ended up stuck in mud on the Isle of Wight.
If you get stuck, call 999 and ask for the Coastguard.

If passed, a cancer screening program would be available to about 4,000 New Hampshire fire fighters. The screening would include a blood test, an ultrasound of vital organs, a lung CT if indicated, and a skin cancer screening. This is is how we save firefighter lives
At the coast with your dog, please follow these useful safety tips 🐾
If you’re passing one of our stations, do stop by - many have water available for thirsty pooches💧🦴
We look out for your safety & that means your dog too 👀
