We used the @helloMCDM Warfare rules in our live-play "Ghosts of Saltmarsh" campaign, and have uploaded a video of the battle with some commentary. The rules worked really well and we had a great time and created a nifty story using them.

@mattcolville's "Running the Game" series was instrumental in my formation as a DM, but alas, the work of @helloMCDM isn't quite suited for my play style overall. However . . . a series of one-shots you can just stick in existing campaigns? Definitely something I'm going to buy.

@ForgeOfLore1 I always want at least a paragraph of backstory, that way I can begin weaving appropriate elements into my plan for the overall campaign. I usually get at least that much, but the more detailed the backstory, the more ways I can find to merge it and the overall plot.
