Article 4 section 4 requires the State to give permission to the Feds for assistance and Article 1 section 8 clause 15 only applies to invasion and insurrection - not domestic violence.
In the context of insurrection there must be a direct assault on the government- eg the State Capitol. Disturbance anywhere else is a domestic violence. If that were not the case there would be no need for two separate clauses with two separate terms and two separate conditions of deployment. The Constitution does not create internal conflict with application. If there appears to be a conflict it’s because there is a lack of understanding of terminology and original intent. Remember the States are separate independent and sovereign governments. It was never intended for the Feds to come into a State for any reason without the permission of that State or in place of an inability (insurrection/invasion) to give permission.

When the Left Mocks Motherhood, It’s Time to Draw the Line

I just read an article in The Guardian by a woman named Emma Beddington, who apparently sees fit to sneer at what she calls a “ghastly coalition of tech bros and religious conservatives” for doing something as radical as… encouraging people to build families and have children. Her screed drips with so much cynicism, you’d think she was describing a failed science experiment rather than the human experience of raising children.

Her depiction of motherhood reads less like a reflection on child-rearing and more like someone describing the trauma of raising a feral litter of dogs in a hurricane. It’s bitter. It’s joyless. And frankly, it sounds like someone projecting unresolved pain, not offering any meaningful insight into parenthood.

As a woman who longed to give birth but couldn’t, and who had the indescribable privilege of raising my adopted son, I can tell you—without hesitation or apology—that parenting is the greatest joy and most meaningful purpose I’ve ever known. Emma would likely dismiss my voice outright because I didn’t “endure” pregnancy and childbirth, as if stretch marks are what qualify a woman to speak on motherhood. Ironically, most of her vitriol isn’t even about child-rearing—it’s about the act of giving birth, as though biology itself is some patriarchal curse.

Frankly, her screed isn’t about parenting—it’s about hatred. Not of parents, of life, of love… She treats birth itself like a curse, and dismisses the drag of sleepless nights and soft‑play hellscapes as proof that kids are a burdensome nuisance . That’s not critique—that’s bile wrapped in passive‑aggressive humor.

Her view of parenting is hollow, sterile, and frankly, heartbreaking. I’m not angry at her because she doesn’t like kids—I’m angry because she’s been lied to. Lied to so thoroughly that she now despises the very thing many women treasure as sacred. And at the same time, I’m deeply sad for her. Imagine being convinced that love, sacrifice, and legacy are just burdens to be escaped.

Yet we do agree on one thing: if Emma and her cheerleaders truly despise parenthood, they shouldn’t have children. Leave the joy, sacrifice, ridiculous laughter and unimagined love to those of us who do believe that building a family—biological or adopted—is worth every tear, tantrum, and triumph.

I agree with your statement; I believe the boundary must be set at Emma's absence of the God-given gift of life; in nature, not every creature is designed to nurture its offspring, and this may similarly apply to certain women like Emma who lack humanity. I believe that motherhood stems from the profound understanding that a small life depends entirely on one's attention and love for survival. This essential nurturing is what binds humanity together, as without it, we would regress into savagery.
