After that, exactly what was expected happened-
The boy let the girl format his phone, laptop, and everything else. Of course, being a tech guy, he knew how to back up his data and had already taken a safe backup somewhere. But after that, he didn’t do anything further.
You know, he had already spoken to the police inspector. The inspector had told him clearly: “Brother, India’s laws are a bit different. Here there’s no open free speech like in the US. Even if a wife cheats on her husband, adultery isn’t a crime here. But if you called a girl the R-word, her word alone is enough to get an FIR filed against you. The laws here are heavily woman-centric. So the best thing for you is to just let the girl do whatever she’s asking. That way she’ll withdraw the case and your career won’t get ruined.”
That’s why the boy quietly let her format his devices. She had come with her boyfriend. She formatted everything and also made the boy write a letter saying that he had abused her and allowed her to format his laptop. But the funny part is — the boy was secretly recording the entire thing on his smartwatch while she was dictating the letter to him. So in a way, it became a coerced confession. And when she was with her boyfriend and she got some time alone she even threatened the guy that " main isko bolati na to yeh to tujhe maar deta "... That also got recorded , she had no idea he was recording all that on his smartwatch lol (it became the case if coerced confession + extortion)
Now the girl also knows that the boy definitely has proof, so she can’t really pursue any case against him further.
But you know, the girl’s main intention was something else. While the boy was sitting at the police station in front of the inspector, she quietly got a video recorded of him being there — basically to show “See, I had filed a complaint against him and he had to come to the police station. Later I withdrew the case for the sake of the family.” So in short, the boy had proof against the girl, and the girl played her own game and got proof against the boy. Girls are quite smart these days.
The police inspector himself said, “Brother, if you really had to abuse her, you should have done it to her face. Why did you do it over text? Because text becomes evidence.” He even said that the girl is characterless (lol). But what can he do? Even he has to follow the law made by the government. But yeah one very smart thing that the guy did is that he showed all the watch recordings to the police inspector and made the police inspector note it down in the police diary that the confession is coerced and about that threat of life incident as well.
The inspector was actually very nice. As soon as he notice that the girl is trying to secretly record the guy he immediately ordered the girl to stop recording. He later called the girl and told her that if you go around showing that recording, the guy might file a defamation case against you and even I can file a complaint because you disobeyed my direct order inside my own cabin.
Funny thing is that the confession and all is coerced , so she knows it is in her best interest to keep quiet lol
@durov Your platform is the best. It's a shame that India cannot solve the paper leaks issues so they always put temporary solutions on permanent problems (btw this isn't a solution at all). Paper leaks happen every year & will keep happening because everyone sleeps on it here
@HelleLyngSvends India lacks behind in freedom of press index... India has horrible police brutality cases too which go unreported...India has too much corruption!!! It's way too much ! India has no value of human life, stupidest colonial era laws, no value for talent, India is a horrible nation
