बैंक मुनाफे में चल रहे हैं लेकिन बैंक कर्मचारियों को 2दिन की छुट्टी देने में इनको मौत आने लगती है।
जबकि आप ख़ुद देखिए बैंक कर्मचारियों पर काम का कितना प्रेशर है।

Every 24x7 banking service has a banker behind it and a family waiting at home. We agreed to the 5-day week in March 2024 and accepted longer weekday hours. The regulator, the insurer and the Government all work 5 days.

We hope and pray that in today's conciliation meeting UFBU holds it ground and goes ahead with 11 September strikeif government does not announces specific date of implementation of 5 days banking week.a momentum has been built and ufbu has unequivocal support of overwhelming majority of bank employees on this long pending and much desired issue . 7 lakh plus PSB bankers work life balance will improve vastly if this 5 days banking week is implemented immediately.
It is now or never and ufbu leadership should withstand like rock against government betrayal on this issue and deliver a knock out punch today .
7 lakh plus PSB bankers and their families will be eagerly waiting with a lot of hope for today's conciliation meeting outcome

If banks can operate digitally 24×7, why must every banker physically work 6 days a week?

That's the real question.

Customers need banking services.

They don't necessarily need every branch employee sitting inside a branch every Saturday.

Technology has changed banking.

Shouldn't the work model change too?

I'm genuinely interested in hearing both sides.

Quick approval of the 5-day week will create a more satisfied and engaged workforce willing to contribute even more to the banks.
Bankers also needs "Work Life Balance". Honour the joint note signed on 8th March 24.
