@Canadianguyehh Mario Kart has rarely ever focused on single player, so I'm not surprised its lacking once again. The thing that really seems to click with most people is the potential for using the new techniques for shortcuts and finding secret paths on the tracks.

It lacks charm and creativity. Besides it's not like sales are an issue, Pokemon still sells millions, even though it's an exclusive.

@PCaldora I feel they would have to do something crazy like this, esp after Mario Kart World and Sonic Racing Crossworlds changed up the genre quite a bit. A safe sequel that played similarly to the first game would be underwhelming.
