Sprawling, enthralling, and packed with dynamic brawling, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth isn’t just the best turn-based Like a Dragon game, it’s one of the greatest games in the entire series. https://t.co/Wt4wJttVhp
So now off to DQ3!
Released over two years later, just 3 months after FF1, it has the ability to choose and swap party members of various jobs. I'm going to roll with a martial artist, a cleric, and a magician, but I seem to recall the merchant has something special about them?
DQ2 done! Solid and a clear evolution over the first. I was impressed with how big the world was, though it took forever to move around.
Probably around 25 hours all in.
Having enemies at the end of the game that could wipe out your whole party due to bad RNG seems pretty mean, even for the times. People were really patient back then.
Meta Quest 3 launches today, and it's the best VR headset on the market. Standalone or hook it up to your PC, whatever you want. The room setup magical, and we are out here cranking out games left and right so pick one up! https://t.co/qXYWLD5jSs
Day two of Dragon Quest II, probably like 4 hours in.
Got all the way to the ship and realized I had missed the silver key so went back for that and headed to ラダトーム, which is where stopped food the day.
For clarity, I'm playing the original Famicon versions. The music in DQ2 is excellent, with far more variety than DQ1. The town song is a jam. The pacing is also vastly superior, with smoother enemy scaling and more compelling battle.
