@HoosierKnight1@jeffparles He’s an Indiana kid, a student manager under Knight. You don’t think it’s his dream job?
As for the “would he be successful in Btown” part, I’d say it’s a safe bet.
@sjsopm@s_beaz5@ZachSchumaker Wouldn’t rule it out. Roy Williams left Kansas to go home to UNC. Dusty’s an IU guy and it’s well known IU is his dream job. As an IU fan I’m pulling for Devries, but no doubt we missed out on a special sports era with Dusty & Cignetti
@sjsopm@ZachSchumaker This isn’t the point. Of course he wasn’t leaving Michigan after 1 year. The point is he never should’ve gotten to Michigan. IU brass dropped the ball in the offseason following his FF run with FAU.
@HoosierHaze We absolutely will. Woody should’ve been gone after year 3 (missed tourney with Kel’el Ware’s team) and I have zero doubt May would’ve picked IU over UM. We’d be the emerging powerhouse in both football and basketball.
@StanleyRob77@Adamkendama1@m_grhoosier1@PeteNakos@On3 Word around IU booster circles is the 1 yr deal was done within 12 hours of the national championship. It’s why it came out so quickly. They say he’ll be back in Bloomington in ‘27. Who knows
