TelegraphProtocol is now organising a hackathon, where in the first track people create a toolkit of different API solutions and in the second track build apps or AI agents based on the intelligence provided by these tools. There are already several API providers in the hack and It's AI was also recently added as one of them.

Telegraph Protocol Update
Telegraph has integrated two new external APIs - @ai_detection and @saplingai - giving miners the ability to build answer machines and models that tap into these services when responding to requests on the network.

Miners are now fairly ranked per task
A new system is live that allows validators to independently score and rank miners based on how well they perform on specific types of requests. The best miners for each task are automatically selected to serve users. This keeps quality high and ensures the most capable intelligence providers rise to the top.
Jobs now settle directly on-chain
When a miner completes a job, the result is now automatically delivered and recorded directly on-chain. The full cycle from request to on-chain settlement is closed and confirmed working end to end.
Documentation update
The Telegraph developer documentation has been restructured from the ground up with a clearer layout and a new dedicated page for the MCP server integration. A Telegraph agent skill for AI coding assistants has also been published and is being prepared for public release.

Real-time communication layer - completed
WebSocket integration with payment per message is done and merged. Agents can now consume live, continuous data streams with a pay-per-consumption stream with the Telegraph network. Enabled by automated deduction from the agent’s own escrowed on-chain, a critical upgrade for any application that needs real-time intelligence.
Agents can now transact on-chain via ERC-8138 - validated
Agentic Commerce (ERC-8138 / @virtuals_io ) has been integrated and tested. Autonomous agents can now initiate, settle, and verify transactions directly on Telegraph, following the ERC-8138 Standard - no human in the loop. Core functionality is confirmed to be working.
Miner pricing is now dynamic
Intelligence providers on Telegraph can now price their services dynamically based on demand and capacity. This gives the network more flexibility and creates a healthier, more competitive environment for miners.
Settlement pipeline - expanded
Three new settlement mechanisms shipped this week:
→ USDC and token swaps now live via @Uniswap v3 integration
→ Merkle Tree verification added for more secure and efficient reward distribution
→ On-chain epoch settlement deployed for Agentic Jobs and Escrow - automated, transparent, trustless

The most useful analogy for Telegraph's architecture: Stripe + Visa for the machine intelligence economy. Stripe doesn't produce what merchants sell, it provides payment infrastructure. Peer-to-peer communication - upgraded
Validator communication has been migrated from standard HTTP to a true peer-to-peer layer. This is a foundational shift in how nodes on the network talk to each other - more resilient, more decentralised, and built to scale as the network grows.
Database migration - finalised
The migration from our legacy database to PostgreSQL is complete. Legacy code has been removed, logging has been standardised, and the full stack has been updated. Miner registration and request routing have been validated end-to-end.
Settlement pipeline - live end to end
The full payment settlement flow is now operational. From incoming payments all the way through to miner reward claims, every stage has been built and verified:

Terminal, Dashboard & Site - updated
The Terminal, Chat, and Dashboard interfaces have all received UI updates. Privy Wallet support has been added to the Terminal, and the main site has been updated with new documentation.
Agentic Commerce - architecture complete
The initial architecture for enabling autonomous agents to transact natively on-chain has been designed and documented.
Telegraph's economic architecture is built on strict role separation. Miners compete on inference quality. Validators stake $MACHINA to run scoring consensus. Agents pay USDC to consume verified signals. No role overlaps with another, and compensation flows are structurally distinct which is what makes the mechanical buy loop possible in the first place.
Telegraph routes agent requests using a standardised Intent system agents declare what they need, not which model to use. The protocol probabilistically dispatches the highest-ranked Miner for that specific task. No vendor management, no API negotiation, no model-specific integration. Think of it as automated procurement for verified machine intelligence.
