My intention was not to insult anyone, but to understand their perspective. However, the conversation quickly turned hostile, and I was cursed with remarks like "your earnings will never increase" and similar words. I chose to remain silent and not argue.
What concerns me is that many people feel pressured to give money out of fear of being cursed or harassed. I have also seen instances where laborers and daily wage workers, who travel after working hard all day, are treated aggressively when they refuse.
Everyone deserves dignity and respect, regardless of their identity. At the same time, respect should be mutual, and no one should be forced, threatened, or intimidated into giving money.
