I spent several years working inside one of the world's largest 👕 apparel companies, where I saw the same problems every season. Despite 💸billion dollar budgets, fashion teams still relied on disconnected tools, endless revisions, spreadsheets and manual coordination across design, merchandising, manufacturing and marketing.
@CotonAi_ has been selected for the @nvidia Inception program. We’re building a collaborative Agentic platform for fashion teams.
Still early. A lot to prove. But excited to build alongside the NVIDIA ecosystem.
Fashion teams need a better way to build products, not just generate images.
We're opening the waitlist for CotonAI: a agentic platform built exclusively for fashion.

@vivieclub Absolutely! I was a fashion designer worked across lot of brands and what I genuinely feel is you can’t just force adoption for AI in the industry because you think thats cool.
The fashion industry doesn't have an AI problem; it has a fundamental problem. Fashion-tech startups struggle to penetrate the ecosystem because they focus on selling AI features rather than solving actual pain points. Adding another disconnected tool only accelerates the chaos.
That's exactly what we're fixing at @CotonAi_. We've just opened our Founding Partner program to 50 brands and are already seeing strong early demand.
What I can say for now is users just love our product, not because we added AI features; but because of that taste, that narrative and that user experience needed for a fashion team to design and ship collections.
Every major fashion brand says they are "investing in AI" right now.
Inditex committed 2.7 billion euros. Nike, LVMH, and half the industry are pouring money into AI, store tech, supply chain tools. Fashion tech spend is set to nearly double by 2030, from under 2 percent of sales to over 3 percent.
Looks like a transformation is underway. It is not.
There will be 3 types of people in the future:
The Purists - reject AI and become new-age hippies
The Automatons - outsource every decision and become machines
The New Renaissance Man - maintains humanity and leverages tech to do what used to be impossible
things i learnt about events in SF
find them here
1. sfirl (dot) com
2. @michelleefang
3. cerebral valley
4. luma
5. follow people on twitter and they post about their events. unfortunately these tend to be the highest signal.
in general the more exclusive the event the higher the quality.
other things I've learnt
- stay away from events that start with AWSLoft & events at the github office. They're usually low signal.
- if a cool startup is hosting an event, its probably a cool event
- don't be the guy that goes up to people and asks them what they're building before asking them their name or saying hello.
