(50% of 1-kid families have one of each)

there are two "mixed" families for every "two boy" family

@heck_sports @ordinarynobody @pli_cachete Yea I don’t buy that you have to count that scenario twice. That’s saying it’s more likely that both are tuesday boys than younger is a tuesday boy and the older is a wednesday boy, which we obviously know is not true

@heck_sports @ordinarynobody @pli_cachete Problem here is that scenarios 1 & 2 that you’ve outlined here are not distinct if the other boy is also born on a Tuesday. Therefore, you have to take into account the day both children were born which gets you to 13/27 which is explained in other tweets in the thread
