You can’t compare Qantas installing wifi on aircraft that never had it to Emirates (for example) being delayed in retrofitting Starlink over their old system.

The cost of Starlink is also no higher than other satellite internet when factoring in fuel. Low margins become a self fulfilling prophecy - why don’t they exclude all IFE now?
