MAJOR UPDATE: Ohafia LGA and environs have been without electricity for more than a decade. Not long after coming into office, Gov. Otti and his team set out to find a lasting solution to solve this problem. Oh, a lot of resources have gone into this for the past nearly one year of non-stop work.

Several tens of kilometers of high tension cables, power poles have been erected, tens of transformers provided, and we’re happy to update that Ohafia is about to be reconnected back to electricity. We appreciate our people for their enduring patience, and apologize for this gross negligence from the former administrations.

Please protect these power utilities and assets, DO NOT allow them to be vandalized like before. Abia must be better. And you have to do your part.

Kudos to Engr. @hikemann and the entire team at Power and Public Utilities Team and Ministry of Works for the dedication to service of our dear state.

These are the 39 secondary schools across Ebonyi State where the model 22-classroom blocks are currently under construction by the administration of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.

The schools were carefully distributed across the 13 Local Government Areas of the State, with three schools selected from each LGA, ensuring fairness, balance, and equitable spread of educational infrastructure across Ebonyi State.

Say 39 new blocks, that means for 3 years the Governor only builds 10 new block per year, shows his best effort towards Education
