Welcome to the personal account of the host of TheDeveloperLabs or @TheDeveloperYT . I say whatever the hell I want here, and I am completely unhinged. Welcome. If you don't like my opinions, just block this account. I don't want or need hate. Just block.
Who added me to a list about YouTubers? I'm barely a YouTuber. I haven't uploaded a video in like 2 years. I want to. But of course, what I want to do costs money and time, neither of which I have. Maybe I'll stream something soon.
@Yukionyaaaa@ChibiReviews Granted I am not Finnish, I don't live in Finland, I never have, all of my statements are based off of Google, and your own screenshots. Would love to at some point, seems at lot better off then my shit hole, despite the recent issued
@Yukionyaaaa@ChibiReviews Correct, TOS does not overrule the law or a right. However, the law explicitly allow surveillance with consent. By using there platform, you agree to there TOS, it is a very very minor change to give your consent in its TOS. Your own screenshot says this.
@Yukionyaaaa@ChibiReviews The core reason on why it doesn't violate the Finnish Constitution is because it is not a mandate by the government to do this. It is an entirely voluntary thing companies can choose to do. And by doing so they most likely put it in their TOS to give them permission.
@Yukionyaaaa@ChibiReviews A better way to phrase this. This isn't government mass surveillance. It is giving companies the ability to surveil conversations voluntarily. By agreeing to the company's TOS and by using their platform, you are giving them consent to monitor your messages.
@Yukionyaaaa@ChibiReviews What was just past to my knowledge doesn't violate this. What was just passed was an extension of Chat Control 1.0 rules to my knowledge. Which Grant companies the ability to voluntarily scan unencrypted conversations for CSAM. Nothing more. Chat control 2.0 definitely would.
@AI_EmeraldApple@ChibiReviews To my knowledge what was just passed does not do this. This is not chat control 2.0 it is an extension of 1.0. it allows platforms to voluntarily scan unencrypted messages for CSAM and nothing more. It does not require them to break encryption. 2.0 would though.
@ChibiReviews I'm pretty sure this is a little overblown on what it's doing. It's extending an already existing law for now known as chat control 1.0. This grants platforms the voluntary ability to scan chats for CSAM. The real dangerous chat control 2.0 thankfully has major opposition.
