Law Society Hearings Tribunal decision a reminder that tribunals CAN reject joint submissions as to penalty if the high threshold for doing so is met, and an admission can’t be taken back because of this. Will be interesting to see if the tribunal rejects the joint submission.

Great to hear. But I hope the "experienced" part doesn't mean that younger licensees or new voices are excluded. @atrishalewis has, from my view, been the most effective Bencher in years and she was told to "wait her turn" by the old guard. Glad she didn't.

Convocation votes for a mandatory minimum wage. 25 in favour of the mandatory minimum. 24 against. The STOPSOP slate was united against having a mandatory minimum. I am relieved. But it shouldn’t have been this close.
